Here at RSND, we provide a few additional services that helps fund my uhm... Goat purchases, LOL! Since my goats will no longer be earning wages at any dairies, I have to earn some extra change somehow and what better way than to offer services to those that are in need at a fair price!

Hoof Trimming;

 I provide hoof trimming services within 20 miles of Roy, WA for no extra charge. 

$10 each  

I am willing to travel outside of the 20 mile boundary for 5 or more goats at one stop, OR if there are additional stops en-route or in the area. I would love to schedule multiple stops in out of area appointments. I will travel outside of the 20 miles for less than 5 goats but will have to charge a travel fee, depending on the distance.

 I supply my own stanchion and hoof trimmers for ease of trimming. If you have large or uncooperative animals or animals with long horns, we may have to lay them down to trim as my stanchion was not built to withstand a large unhappy goat, or their horns may not fit into the stanchion. 
 

 

 

 

Wethering;

 I am available to wether your goats as well. I wether around 8 weeks of age but would rather not do it any older then 4 1/2-5 months. I recommend contacting a veterinarian at that age.

 I have the the clamp and the bands to get the job done. $10 per goat.

 

 

 

 

Disbudding;

  In order to have an efficient burn, please bring buck kids NO LATER than 7 days after birth. I can not guarantee no scurs, but you are less likely to have them appear the sooner they are done. Doelings preferred no later than 14 days. As long as you can feel a hornbud, they can be done.

  I shave the area to be burned, burn each hornbud until there is a lovely copper colored circle, and will finish with a spray of blukote to prevent any kind of infection. On kids you are wanting to leave as bucks or seem to have a large amount of testosterone, I may do what is called a figure 8 burn on each hornbud for a more efficient burn. It tends to really help prevent scurs on these guys.

Body Clipping;

Show-$40

Basic Clip-$20

Show clip is a much more detailed clip that is also a much shorter clip. This includes a hoof trim at no extra charge.

Basic clip is just a cleanup clip. Evens out the hair and is not as short or detailed.
