Rainier's Shadow
Nigerian Dwarfs
Roy Washington
Here are the current does who inhabit my small farm here at RSND. Going to stay small for now and not have more than maybe... 8? Yea, that sounds like a good number! haha. I am down to two senior does and two junior does to be the foundation of RSND. I want to focus on wide, flat rumps. Polka and Polly bring that to the table! Gabby and Leia have the potential to bring those qualities as well. Hopefully this mix of does helps me start out a quality productive herd. I also have a couple of kid reservations floating around. Hopefully they get filled!

This doe right here has the whole package. The udder, the TOPLINE, and the width! Also splashed in some nice colors with a couple of moonspots and polled to boot! Dance is coming to us from Tracy Zumwalt of Windy Gorge farm. She did a great job getting this doe's star in all three categories! This year to see if I can't get her Senior Genetics status! Maybe get some good show wins under her belt too!

This little darling doe of Polka's is officially the first registered RSND doe ever! She has a lot to bring to the table and I hope she does my tiny herd proud! She's out of Polka who is just an outstanding doe and by Stag who has some nice udders behind him. Hopefully they mesh well and this little one will shine in the show ring and on the milk stand! Watch for us this show season!

Sire- Old Mountain Farm Stag Party
Dam- Oak Apple Greta Go Girl 82 +VV+

Val is an adorable little doe I am purchasing from Amy York at TUA Farms. She is a granddaughter of the great OMF Stag, who I am working into my lines. I think she will be a great addition and cross well on my little buck who also goes back to Stag. It will be more of a line breeding on Stag Party, BUT Stag party is also the sire to the amazing Old Mountain Farm Ta-Dah! FS90 VEVE. Excited to watch this little girl grow and see what she morphs into!

Sire- Purple Camas Farm Fabio 91 EEE
Dam- 5* Elfin Acres E Matilda 84 VVE+

There's just something about this doe that catches my attention and keeps it. She stands so nicely, naturally and is always seeming to show off. Makenna is not a friendly doe unfortunately. Hoping that she does as previous owner, Nick Windsor says and comes around when it's time to milk. She does love her treats and will get close enough to snatch them out of your hands. She has come to us bred to Dill's BJ Curiouser 88VVV (1-03)and she kidded quads for me! 3 does(1 DOA) and one buckling. I am retaining one doeling and have sold the remaining kids. Easy kidding, even with the last two kids coming out breach and back legs first. Other than that, she had no issues.
Sold, Thank you Sandy Baker!
Rest In Peace
M2 Ranch Wizards Lil Violet

Sire- Old Mountain Farm Wizard
Dam- The Solway Farm Gingersnap

This little gal I am SO excited for! I have had my eye out for Old Mountain Farm lines for a bit and then OMF took nationals and I knew I had to get something before their prices skyrocketed! Lil is turning into a nice little doe and is slowly coming around and not seeing me as a huge danger. She goes back to OMF Stag and hopefully she will follow in his mighty hoof-steps! Can't wait to see her FF udder in 2018!

Unfortunately we lost Lil to frothy bloat on November 13th, 2017. Needless to say I am heartbroken over her loss and I still tear up whenever I see a photo of my beautiful girl. Hopefully will be getting a new doeling from her wonderful breeder, Phyllis Morriss Next spring.
