Breeding schedule and reservation updates

Below is the listing of current and planned breedings. Kids are available for purchase after evaluation and reservation picks are made. Bucks will not normally be available for purchase, especially out of first fresheners. Exceptions may be made though depending on bloodlines, quality of dam, quality of sire, and overall quality of buckling born. At no time will a buck be left intact due to color of fur or eyes. We strive for quality of conformation and milk production, not color. If color happens, then it's quite the bonus.

Reservations may be made, free of charge. When you place a reservation on a breeding for either a buck or doe, that gives YOU the first pick of the litter. Not even I (unless previously notified) will get to choose first. Once kids are born, the first person on the list will be notified be preferred method and shown the options available. If they pass, the next person on the list will be notified, and so on. If you placed a reservation for a doe and only bucks are born, (and same with bucks) you may use your reservation on any other doe, but your placing won't be bumped to the front if there are other reservations.

Once goats have kidded and you have chosen to keep a reservation on a kid, a non refundable deposit of $150 must be placed within TWO weeks of birth. Kids will be weaned no earlier than 10 weeks, preferably at 12 week. Full agreed upon payment will be due no later than 6 weeks of age. If kids are to be taken as bottle babies, full payment is required before kids leave this property.

The only way to receive your deposit back is if in unfortunate circumstance where your reserved and deposited kid has died. You may receive your deposit back, or place it on another kid that does not have a reservation on it. OR it may go towards a kid the following year. What ever the circumstance, we will work it out to the best of our ability!

All kids will leave here disbudded, tattooed, and first CD&T shot given(if not purchased within the first two weeks of birth). RSND is a CAE, CL, Johnes, TB free herd. My does will be tested annually due to leaving the property for shows on occasion. All sanitizing practices will be upheld when going to a show but you never know what goats may pickup in the show ring.
